This is a view from Gericke’s Point island outcrop looking back at Wilderness (left) and Sedgefield (right) as if standing on the Sphinx island’s top. It depicts a time where man has taken a step back and nature is thriving again.
Having been painted during the time of lockdown due to the Corona Virus, where people have been forced to restrict movements, such incredible footage has been captured where animals are moving around more visibly in areas rarely seen before. It gave such a sense of relief at a time where humanity was struggling in many ways.
Hopefully is helps us reevaluate our lifestyles and give more respect for nature to enable a better future for us within her.
