Sometimes my art resonates with people in such a way that they want to feature me on their platforms. It’s a humbling experience that I’m always grateful for.
To date, I’ve made my TV debut (KykNet feature), been featured in ZigZag Surfing Magazine and the Cape Creative Collective, as well as a local holistic health magazine called Odyssey. I was even contacted by a researcher from Stellenbosch University to reference my work in a piece about life during Covid-19. How cool is that?

It’s no secret that the Garden Route is bursting with creative talent. To celebrate this, I gathered a team to help me put on an event to showcase all this raw talent. Not once, but TWICE, in one year.
The Evoking Art Experience included art auctions, poetry recitals, drumming circles, and live music to keep the revellers lively late into the night.
The main idea was to provide a platform for local artists to show off their work. Timberlake Village, where my studio is located, jumped on board to help me host these events.
Both Evokings were a huge success, and the local talent on display was nothing short of inspiring.
This is a special place. Filled with special people. And the Evoking Art Experience proved it.
